Lilly Hollon is a self-taught artist born and raised in Fairhope, Al, and currently based in Nashville, Tn. Although she has maintained a lifelong connection to art, Lilly began leaning heavily into her creative practice—particularly painting—during her time studying at Auburn University. What began as a personal outlet quickly evolved into a passion, and she has been creating consistently ever since.
Her work is deeply inspired by nature’s organic form, aiming to capture its raw beauty through a variety of mediums in order to create depth and atmosphere that feels rich, while maintaining a soft, whimsical energy.
Working primarily in abstract collages and paintings, as well as florals and landscapes, her practice spans a wide range of subject matter. Her process is guided by intuition and balance, blending spontaneity with intention.
“The ability to look deeply is the root of creativity. To see past the ordinary and mundane and get to what otherwise might be invisible.”
— Rick Rubin
